People always talk about the first person who landed on the moon, but we don’t think about how we can land on the moon mentally. This begs the question: How does information transmit from the moon to our brain?

We were inspired by a Chinese story, “The Monkeys and the Moon,” in which monkeys are trying to catch the moon that is a reflection on the surface of water. The story reflects how we try to find truth in the world, but truth is like the moon reflected on the water – just an illusion.
